The MVP in conjunction with the Historically Black Institution (HBI) Visitation Program provide the opportunity for outstanding, undergraduate minority students interested in pursuing graduate studies to visit the Purdue University West Lafayette campus. Generally, students selected to participate in this program have relatively high GPA’s and a strong likelihood of gaining admission to one of Purdue’s STEM graduate programs. During the three-day visit, students tour campus facilities, receive a comprehensive view of departmental programs, and meet with faculty, administrators, and graduate students.
