The National Science Foundation (NSF) grant provided stipends for 36 student interns this summer at various projects in science and engineering firms in, but not limited to, San Diego and were also placed on teams of 2-4 students.
The 3rd Annual BA Star Science and Engineering Research Symposium will be held Friday and Saturday September 19th & 20th at Sacramento State University. The annual Leadership Summit took place at the Indian Hills Camp in Jamul on the weekend of February 15, 2008. Students from San Diego City College, San Diego State University, Southwestern College, and Ventura College participated in various competitions that promoted the use of their newfound leadership skills and other strengths.
