The San Diego Highway Development Association (SDHDA) is pleased to offer it’s first ever scholarship program. We will be giving out two prestigious scholarships to two eligible candidates currently enrolled in a graduate and undergraduate program. The undergraduate and graduate scholarship awards will be $2,500.00 each.

NASA Goddard Space Flight Center is the home to the nation’s largest organization of combined scientists, engineers and technologists who build spacecraft, instruments and new technology to study the Earth, the Sun, our Solar System, and the Universe. From high school interns to accomplished Nobel Prize winners, each member of the Goddard team plays a vital role in mission success.

The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) is accepting online applications for the HACU Scholarship Program until Friday, May 28, 2010.
More than $250,000 will be awarded to eligible students attending HACU-member institutions during the 2010-2011 academic year.

This is a summer internship with flexible hours.
Students in MESA/NSF/SPSD/MEP/MSP are eligible for an NSF Stipend of $1,250 for 100 hours of work. All other interested students may volunteer without pay to do this.
SRAs independently manage an assigned local territory of high schools, representing SDSU by providing presentations and information to students, counselors and parents. They prepare and arrange their own presentations, appointments and meetings. Additional duties include assisting in the office and preparing for admission events, such as Explore SDSU and a CSU Counselor Conference. Each SRA walks away with a whole new world of transferable skills under their belt at the end of the year.
Qualified applicants will be brought onto active duty status and while finishing their degree they will receive a salary, housing allowance, food monies, free medical/dental benefits and are issued an active duty military ID card which will allow access to military installations (shopping, gas, groceries, gym, etc). (If the applicant is married, their spouse/children will also receive these benefits too.) And once they have graduated with their degree they will be scheduled to attend the AF Basic Officer Training School and at graduation become a commissioned officer!
