Society of Manufacturing Engineers, SME44, invites you to tour Vas Engineering’s modern
electronics design and contract manufacturing facility in Kearny
Mesa. The company was founded in 1987, and gained an ISO 9001 in
2003.

Visitors will see best practices in electronics circuit board
manufacturing, inventory control, continuous document control, and
process control. State-of-the-art manufacturing equipment allows Vas
to provide quick turnaround on orders while maintaining a competitive
edge. All products are manufactured in their modern 20,000 square
foot facility. Local board houses provide fast response on prototype
quantities of single sided to multilayer boards.

Vas operates state-of-the-art assembly robotics, SMT reflow ovens, QC
test systems, and integrated MRP control system. Vas assists its
customers from prototype to production. By getting into the design
loop early, Vas can help companies bring products to market faster.
They help customers qualify a design or process in an early stage and
make adjustments as necessary. In maintaining a close relationship
with its customers, Vas continues to stretch the limits of its own
abilities, anticipating and providing on-going support for advanced
product development.

You can visit Vas’s website at http://www.vasengineering.com/ .
