Summer Research – Earthquake Engineering REU

The George E. Brown Jr., Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (NEES) is inviting applicants for its 2010 summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU). NEES is a network of experimental sites across the country designed to enhance engineers’ and scientists’ potential for discovery and collaboration. The network includes state-of-the-art equipment to support physical simulations of earthquakes and tsunamis. Attached please find a flier to distribute among your colleagues, students, student clubs, career centers, and student services.

We are looking for civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering, as well as computer engineering and computer science students. Applications are found online at http://www.nees.org/training/workshop_detail/neesreu2010/. We will begin reviewing applications on March 15.
