‘One in a Million’ Scholarship Contest for Currently Enrolled California College Students

The Campaign is proud to be sponsoring a new scholarship contest this year – the “One in a Million” scholarship contest. California will need 1,000,000 additional college graduates by the year 2025 in order to meet our state’s workforce needs. So, every student who successfully completes college is “one in a million.”

The contest invites all currently enrolled college students in California to tell our state’s leaders why they are one in a million and why policymakers should support college opportunity to help them reach their college dream. A minimum of 20 scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000 will be awarded to students across the state through a generous grant from the College Access Foundation.
