Native Professional Development Grant, The Wildlife Society, Travel stipend to attend Annual Conference in Hawaii 2011

The Wildlife Society (TWS) and the Native Peoples Wildlife Management Working Group (NPWG) of The Wildlife Society, the 2011 Native American Professional Development Grants Program. This years grants program is a competitive program available to all Native American, Alaska Natives, First Nations, native Hawaiian or indigenous tribal students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program studying natural resources or natural resource management.

Grant funds will enable students to attend the 18th Annual Conference of The Wildlife Society, to be held in Waikoloa, Hawaii (the Big Island), November 5-10, 2011. Individuals selected for this program will receive grants of $2,000 each to help cover registration fees, lodging, meals and transportation to the conference. All indigenous students in a relevant academic discipline are strongly encouraged to apply. Please note the application deadline is AUGUST 5, 2011.
