A four-week summer residential program (June 24, 2012 – July 21, 2012) hosted within the medical school at UCSD for community college students who are interested in health professions as well as biomedical science research. $2,340 stipend per student is provided to cover cost of room/board and taxes.
Program activities include individualized mentoring, health career counseling, admission test preparation courses, study and time management skills workshop, health-related internship opportunities and informal meetings and social events with medical students.
