WHITAKER UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM

Fall/Academic Year 2012-13 deadline for the Whitaker International Undergraduate program is coming up. Due to the volume of applications, we have extended the deadline to Monday, April 2nd, to accommodate the applications that have been started and to allow for new applications. Please be sure to have your students’ applications approved by the deadline.

WHAT IS THE WHITAKER UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM?
Grant funding for projects, internships and coursework in biomedical engineering (or bioengineering) overseas.
• Award: amounts range from $7,500 for a semester program to $10,000 for an academic year program.
• Projects: High-quality BME-relevant proposals will be funded, which can include: coursework, research and internships.
• Eligibility: US citizens and residents in their sophomore, junior or senior year with a BME or a closely related major.
• Program must be approved by home institution.
