WTS San Diego 2009 scholarship opportunity for graduate and undergraduate women pursuing a career in the field of transportation. WTS will award four scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each for two graduate and two undergraduate students. The winners will be automatically entered in the WTS national scholarship competition, where they could win an additional $3,000 scholarship.

Attached are 1) the undergraduate application and 2) the graduate application. Interested women need to:

1. Fill out the 2-page application
2. Include one official copy of their transcript (if official transcript is not available, a copy of an online transcript will be sufficient)
3. Include one letter of recommendation from a professor or job supervisor
4. Include a personal statement of 500 words or less (undergraduate) or 750 words or less (graduate)
5. Include proof of enrollment (tuition receipt or current registration card)

Mail the application to the address provided on the form – APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY NOVEMBER 9, 2009.
