University of Michigan SROP

University of Michigan’s Summer Research Opportunity Program (SROP) in summer 2011. SROP is a great way for you to take part in faculty-lead research projects while exploring doctoral studies at U-M. Students who are admitted into the program will get experience working on a project that faculty are deeply committed to, and which they are currently working on in a range of academic disciplines.

The call for applications for SROP at the University of Michigan has begun, the application deadline is February 14, 2011 but we encourage you to complete your application as early as possible. If admitted into the program you will receive:

Ø A stipend of $4,000 for the summer

Ø Campus residential housing and meals

Ø Round-trip transportation to and from the University of Michigan

Ø Participation in a GRE prep course

Ø Registration, travel, and participation in the Annual CIC-SROP Research Conference
