The National Institutes of Health (NIH) carries out and funds biomedical
research in an effort to prevent and cure common and rare diseases.
Community College Summer Enrichment Program will provide community
college students an opportunity to:
• Perform full time research in a laboratory or on a project at the NIH
• Participate in workshops and courses focused on development of
academic and professional skills in preparation for careers in biomedical
or healthcare fields.
