Message from the Instructor: This is the last chance for students to prepare for the current version of the test before the Revised GRE goes into effect on August 1st. As of today, students can register for and take the current GRE up to July 23rd at most testing centers (July 22nd at the SDSU Testing Office). After that, they will be forced to take the Revised GRE. Please share this schedule with your students and encourage any who are planning to take the GRE to consider taking the test before the changes take place. GRE scores are valid for a period of five years, so even students not planning to apply to graduate school for a while can benefit from taking the test now.

Slots for taking the GRE this summer will fill up quickly, so please advise your students to register early if they want to take the current test. To register, they’ll need to complete an online process through the GRE web site (www.gre.org). This course is also likely to fill up quickly, so any students wanting to enroll should email me as soon as possible to reserve their seat in the course.
