SEEK (Summer Engineering Experience for Kids) 2012

This summer SEEK (Summer Engineering Experience for Kids) is back in San Diego and Oakland, California. We are thrilled to be back on the West Coast reaching more Cali youth! SEEK is a 3 week engineering summer camp program for 3-5 grade students where students learn engineering concepts and science and math skills through fun, hands-on projects and competitions. The students are taught by collegiate mentors (preferably in STEM majors, but not required).

We are currently recruiting NSBE collegiate members for these mentor positions. Mentors receive a $2,000 stipend plus help with travel expenses and accommodation (if applicable).

Please pass this information on to your chapter members and encourage them to apply (You MUST be a NSBE member to apply).

For more information on the SEEK program, watch the SEEK 2011 video at : http://www.nsbe.org/Videos/SEEK-2010.aspx or visit the website: http://www.nsbe.org/Programs/NSBE-Programs/SEEK.aspx .

We will be launching a new SEEK website in late January so check back in February for the updated website as well.

Please email us at seek@nsbe.org for questions or concerns.
