Applications for undergraduate students applying for this year’s summer immunology and microbial sciences undergraduate fellowships are due Jan 30th. If you know of an exceptional undergraduate student that you think would be a great candidate for the program, please have them apply using the online application athttp://www.scripps.edu/research/ims/application.html . Attached is the information flyer for 2012 that you can distribute to those interested in applying.

Laboratories interested in accepting a summer intern should let us know as soon as possible as placements will occur in early February. This program exposes talented young college students to actual bench science and the fields of immunology and microbial sciences. The alumni of this program have gone on to attend graduate schools at very prestigious universities all over the United States and abroad, including TSRI! Once enrolled in the program, students will be placed in an immunology and microbial sciences laboratory for the summer, be involved in bi-weekly presentations, and give a formal presentation at the end of their project.
