Two solar water heating systems will be presented by the property managers and owners of market rate and affordable housing. The EPA has been hosting an informational series where peers can present to each other their learnings and answer questions.

EPA’s webinar “Solar Water Heating in Multi-family Buildings: Lessons from the field” on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, 1:00 PM-2:30 PM, will feature two multi-family building owners who invested in solar water heating technologies and are seeing significant energy savings. Attendees will hear about the economic and social motivations that led these owners to consider a solar water heating system, how they handled perceived and real risks or barriers, and the financial and energy savings they have experienced. A technical expert will provide an overview of common solar water heating applications in multi-family buildings. A Q&A session concludes the presentations.
