NASA’s Pathways (ELECTRONICS/AVIATION TECHNICIAN STUDENT) Intern Employment Program

The work may involve trainee duties in one or more of the following areas:
Aerospace Technology, Airframe & Power Plant Technician, Electronics Technology. Opportunities include multiple types of positions within these occupational areas at NASA, Dryden Flight Research Center.

Possible positions may be, but not limited to, the following: Aerospace Engineering Technician (A&P Mechanic), Electronics Technician, Engineering Technician (Mechanical), etc.

The Pathways Student Program is established in the excepted service and provides for planned, progressive educational studies at an accredited institution. Positions can be filled at any grade level. Grade level is determined by academic achievement and management need. Students advance to higher grades as education is completed and approved by management.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Position subject to pre-employment background investigation
  • Must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a degree-seeking student
