Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Workshop

The National Council of Negro Women, Inc. will sponsor its Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Workshop on Saturday, May 4, 2013 and  invite young ladies in grades 4th – 10th to attend a FREE workshop created to expose young ladies to careers in

the STEM areas (See Flyer)

8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

 

There will also be classes for parents in the areas of finance, college scholarship information and other financial assistance available for students.

 

It will be a full day of fun with a inspirational keynote speaker,  classes, continental breakfast, lunch, snack and raffle of laptop computers and printers and other prizes. Last year, there were five computer and printers raffled off  with 200 attendees including 39 students from El Centro, California.
