Digital Force Technologies is offering a hands-on learning opportunity to the right student. Selected candidates will work along-side senior level engineers to apply classroom knowledge while learning industry best practices.
The qualified candidate is a fulltime student in an engineering program with an educational focus in mechanical, electrical or software engineering. Candidates must have completed at least the basic courses in the respective discipline in addition to the general education requirements. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week during class sessions with flexibility around class deadlines and finals. A semester to semester schedule will be required.

Duties:
‘Work along side engineers (mechanical, electrical, or software) to gain on the job training.
‘Support respective engineers by providing assistance with technical tasks.
‘Assist with project ship tasks.
‘Apply principles and techniques of engineering to project tasks.
‘Others tasks as assigned.
Qualification:
‘Currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution working towards a technical degree.
‘Educational focus in mechanical, software, electrical engineering, computer science, or other technology related discipline.
‘1-2 years of instruction or hands on technology experience.
‘Basic knowledge of engineering principles.
‘Communicate effectively in writing and verbally using the English language.
‘Work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
‘Flexible and adaptable to changes, learn quickly, manage time efficiently.

Physical Requirements:
‘The position requires sitting and focusing on small components or computers.
‘Must have a steady hand for working with small parts and pieces.
‘Must be able to handle machines and tools safely.
‘Must be able to commute to our San Diego location.

Special Requirements:
‘Willingness and ability to obtain a security clearance for which the government requires US citizenship may be required.
