Further, the policy vision is that “energy efficiency, energy conservation, demand response, advanced metering, and distributed generation technologies are offered as elements of an integrated solution that supports energy and carbon reduction goals immediately…” This seminar focuses on how an integrated systems approach incorporating enabling technologies optimizes energy efficiency and demand management. Examples of how systems are relevant to each other in achieving energy efficiency and demand management will be shared.
