career in that science. Information and the on-line and down-loadable
application forms can be found on our web site. Scholarship amounts
range from a minimum of $1000 to a maximum of $5000 per year
depending on year in school and financial need.

The American Chemical Society awards renewable scholarships to
underrepresented minority students who want to enter the fields of
chemistry or chemistry-related fields. Awards of up to $5,000 are
given to qualified applicants based on academic standing, financial
need, career objective, leadership skills, and involvement in school
activities and community service.

If you are an African American, Hispanic or American Indian high
school senior or college freshman, sophomore or junior pursuing a
college degree in the chemical sciences or chemical technology, you
may be eligible for an ACS scholarship.
