2009 Educational Partnership Program Undergraduate Scholarship
The two year scholarship is designed to increase the number of students who undertake course work and graduate with degrees in specific scientific areas or fields including oceanic and atmospheric science, research, technology, mathematics, and engineering. The EPP Undergraduate Scholarship Program provides awards that include academic assistance (up to $8,000) for full-time study during each 9-month academic year and two 10-week, full-time internship positions ($650/week) during the summer at a NOAA facility.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Dr. Nancy Foster Scholarship Program recognizes outstanding scholarship and encourages independent graduate level research in oceanography, marine biology and maritime archaeology. For the 2009-2010 academic year, Dr. Nancy Foster Scholarships provide support of up to $32,000: a 12-month stipend of $20,000, in addition to an annual cost-of-education allowance of up to $12,000; and up to $20,000 support for a four to six week research collaboration at a NOAA facility.
