The purpose of National MFG DAY on October 3, 2014 is to address the common misconceptions about manufacturing by giving manufacturers an opportunity to open their doors and show, in a coordinated effort, what manufacturing is — and what is being built and created in our own back-yard. By working together during and after MFG DAY, manufacturers are able to address the skilled labor shortage they face, connect with future generations, take charge of the public image of manufacturing, and ensure the ongoing prosperity of the whole industry.

There are many great manufacturers here in San Diego that will be hosting tours and open houses that Friday. We manufacture great products like guitars, skateboards, and stem cells locally.
