The 2009 Nanomaterials and Nanomechanics REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) program in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Arkansas will be held May 17 – July 24, 2009. Applications are encouraged in the following areas: Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering.
This NSF-REU Program provides a stipend of $4500, on-campus housing, a food allowance, and up to $450 for travel expenses.
Only US citizens or permanent residents who will graduate after September 2009 are eligible. Underrepresented students are particularly encouraged to apply.
The application deadline is March 2, 2009.
