2009 Native American Graduate Horizons Program

Native American Graduate Horizons is a student oriented four day residential program for Native students from all over the country.

Students are organized into nine groups based on their interests which include; Business/mgt, Law, Health sciences, STEM (Science, technology, engineering & math), Social Sciences & Native American Studies, Education, Arts and Humanities, Public Service and Tribal Leadership (government, nonprofits, politics, public affairs consulting, NGO?s and other international organizations, international affairs), Exploring/undecided group. The goal is to help them find a pathway that makes sense for them and to help prepare them for a solid applicattion.

Also, attached are two flyers for this event (one is geared toward the California Indian students). Recruiters are welcome but must participate in this residential program for all five days (Fri night to Tues at noon) so that they can bond with these Native students. Costs are $1500 for recruiters (includes meals and housing). If you are a UC Berkeley faculty or administrator then the $1500 fee may be waived.
