The BAEG (Buyer Approval Engineering Group) has a close relationship with the software developers in the SEOUL R&D group and wireless communication providers in North America (Alltel, US Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket and ACG). BAEG software engineers interact with developers and handle all aspects of the testing life cycle from test planning to interface with R&D group in Korea and wireless communication providers all the way to the software approval stage.

Provides specification/requirement analysis and testing on mobile devices. Ensures engineering support and communication to Carrier/R&D. Ensures device certification for handsets. Reviews the carrier’s functional requirement/specification for the mobile devices. Leads technical meetings with carrier/customer, summaries the meeting, and provides reports to manager. Participates in conferences with R&D engineers. Prepares weekly reports to manager. Participates in the internal meeting or customer meeting regular basis or irregular basis.

Requirements:

BS/BA in Computer Science or Computer Engineering ; or similar engineering background ; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a telecommunication industry. Passionate Entry Level is eligible to apply. Must possess strong communication and coordination skills. Must be able to travel frequently to customer’s lab/site to trouble shoot issues or participate in meeting.
