HACU in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is offering scholarships to local San Diego area college students to attend HACU’s 24th Annual Conference in San Diego, CA (September 18-20, 2010). This setting will provide a unique national and regional forum for awareness, networking, and information sessions on higher education.

Please encourage your students to apply today! Students can complete the online application at www.HACU.net and submit a one-page résumé to studenttrack@hacu.net; please place the subject heading as “Local Conference Scholarships.”

Eligibility [Students majoring in Biology, Civil Engineering, Ecology, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Geography, Geological Sciences, Recreation Administration, and other areas related to natural resources, conservation, environment, and agriculture related fields.]

Local Conference Scholarships:
o Conference: student registration, related meals, and sponsored entertainment events.

***Students will be able to partake in the HACU Student Track, which provides a unique information-sharing forum for students to discuss professional development opportunities, and allows students to participate in student-centered sessions on higher education, career exploration, and leadership development.
