Farewell to Angeline Villanueva Yang, Program Coordinator

Dear MESA and MEP Industry Supporters,

It is with mixed emotions and a heavy heart that I write to inform you that I will be leaving the position of Grant Manger and Program Coordinator of the STEP Partnership of San Diego (SPSD) on August 10, 2011.  I have accepted a position at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) Extension Office as a Program Representative of Science and Technology.

Working with you and the MESA Collaborative at City College, Southwestern College, and San Diego State University was an incredible experience.  Being able to see our programs in action; work with students, staff and industry; and see the students succeed academically, graduate, and give back to MESA/MEP was personally and professionally enriching. Partnering with you was vital to the students’ success.  Thank you so much for your support and commitment to MESA and MEP.

As an alumna of MESA for the past 14 years and student affairs professional in STEM, I will continue to support the MESA, MEP, and its students.  We will probably work with each other again. Thank you for the many incredible memories with the STEP Partnership of San Diego (SPSD)!

Sincerely,

Angeline Villanueva Yang

Program Coordinator, STEM Talent Expansion Program (STEP) Partnership of San Diego (SPSD)
