We would like to announce the roll-out of the Railway Association of Southern California (RASC) 2013 Scholarships. Since its inception in 1996, the professionals of RASC have had the vision to promote scholastic achievement in the railway industry. Over the past years this has always proved to be successful. The application form is simple and we highly encourage you to share this with other departments in your alma mater and with all the clubs and students involved in the railway industry. The railway industry needs more talented people to enter its ranks as a lot of the experienced professionals retire in the next 5 years. This new generation of professionals needs to enter the workplace with passion and vigor; as displayed by the baby boomer generation. We can impact our communities and our country by helping shape its future. Mass Transit is the future of urban America and you all are part of this growing movement. Lets pass on our knowledge to the next generation and lend a helping hand.
We want students to apply for the Undergrad or Grad scholarships. We offer 2 each for a total of 4. The details are in the attached application form.
