Have you been looking to get involved with the Science Festival? Here are a few opportunities to assist at our biggest event yet, the our Science Expo in Balboa Park, predicted to have between 15-30,000 science enthusiasts! Volunteers will receive a science festival T-shirt.

Evaluators: Friendly volunteers needed to help document this first-time event by talking to families to learn who they are and what they think about the Festival; responses will be recorded on PDAs and laptop computers, so volunteers should have a basic comfort with these technologies; training will be provided in the
morning before the Festival; for this unique volunteer opportunity, volunteers will be treated to lunch on the day of the Festival.

Please note: Evaluators must be at least 18 years of age. (32 volunteers are needed. Shift: 11-6)

Concierge: Direct people to various activities throughout the Park. Concierge positions are both inside participating museums and outside in the Park. (Shifts: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, 12:45 -3:45
pm, or 3:30 – 6:30 pm)

Stage Manager: Help us manage entertainment on the various stages
throughout the event. (Shifts: 10:30 – 6:00)
