FIRST Robotics Competition
The FIRST Robotics Competition is a national engineering contest for high school students in which student teams work with engineers from business and universities to brainstorm, design, construct and test their “champion robot.”
KEYs to Empowering Youth
KEYs to Empowering Youth is a science and technology mentoring program for 11-13 year old girls designed to provide them with the opportunity to meet and work with women studying and working in science and engineering. The KEYs program provides interactive, hands-on activities that stress the importance of engineering, science and technology and their impact on society.” Program offered

National Engineer’s Week
National Engineers Week is held each Febrary. This site has sections devoted to discovery or exploration of engineering, and one all about engineering for girls. The site also provides resources for volunteers, educators, students, and those with other interests such as media and projects.
