MERGE Free Graduate Study Trip

APPLY FOR A FREE TRIP TO UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is offering a no-obligation, expense-paid campus visit to promising engineering, physics and chemistry students who are preparing for graduate study. The trip is sponsored by the Multi-Cultural Engineering Recruitment for Graduate Education (MERGE) program. This year’s MERGE program will be held on Nov. 5 & 6, 2010 with travel on Nov. 4 & 7. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and be enrolled in (or have recently completed) an accredited curriculum in engineering, physics or chemistry. Preference is given to students who are planning to enter graduate studies in 2011 and whose cultural background will contribute to the diversity of the graduate student body.

It is important to note that in order to take advantage of this opportunity, you must submit the application materials no later than October 8, 2010.
