NRO Air Force Scholarship Program, “Athena Recon”. Following are the highlights of the scholarship. A flyer is attached.
• Eligibility Requirements:
o Rising senior with a graduation date of May 2010
o US Citizen
o 18 years or older
o Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
o Majoring in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering
o Ability to pass background and security clearance
o Willing to work in the Washington DC area
• Benefits
o Hired as a Department of Defense (DoD) Air Force Civilian
o Salary equivalent to a GS-7
o Relocation expenses paid
o Participate in a two-year professional development program (PDP) in Systems Engineering Division
o At completion of the PDP, NRO will provide full-time academic sponsorship to attain a Master’s in Systems Engineering
