National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency will be hosting a job fair here in San Diego on November 15, 2010. Highly motivated MESA Students looking to become Civil Servants are encouraged to pre-register, attend, and apply.

The deadline to register for the San Diego event is October 1, 2010. Everyone who registers must be a U.S. citizen (no exceptions due to the need to do a security background check prior to the event).

To register for the San Diego job fair, do the following:

1. From the NGA Home Page, click on “Current Openings” on the lower left side of the page
2. A “Careers” webpage will come up.
3. Scroll down in the Current Openings / Job list until you see the “San Diego Hiring Event ….” postings.
4. Click on one of postings and hit “Apply Now”. (Applicants will need to register for the website before applying for any postings).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: NGA are currently accepting resumes for Program and Office Administration positions at our November 2010 invitation only hiring event to be held in San Diego, CA.

Resumes submitted for this Program and Office Administration announcement will be actively screened and applicants whose background, experience, and skill set meet the requirements of the targeted positions for which we will be hiring (listed below) will be invited for an interview.

Most individuals selected from this event will not fill current vacancies, but rather, fill future vacancies as they occur.

You should apply to each occupation specific announcement that you have an interest in being considered for.

Although you are applying only to Program and Office Administration positions through this announcement, NGA may consider you for other positions for which you are qualified.

PLEASE NOTE: The primary duty locations for these positions are within the Washington D.C. and St. Louis metropolitan areas.
