4th annual SDSU Student Research Symposium

On behalf of the University Research Council’s Student Research Committee, we are pleased to announce the 4th annual SDSU Student Research Symposium and invite all SDSU students to participate in this exciting event.
The Student Research Symposium is a two-day event to recognize the outstanding scholarly accomplishments of SDSU students. The SRS provides a public forum where SDSU students present their research, scholarship, or creative activities. Presentations, oral or poster, are organized by academic disciplines with divisions for undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students.
Ten Presidential Awards ($500) will be made to recognize outstanding achievement in original scholarship. These students will go on to represent SDSU at the CSU Student Research Competition in May 2011. In addition, Dean’s
Awards ($250) will be made to two students from each college and Provost Awards ($150) will be made for outstanding poster presentations.
All SDSU students—including those who graduated after spring 2010— are encouraged to submit an application to present either preliminary or completed results from their original research.
