WHO SHOULD APPLY? Freshman and Sophomore students majoring in biology, chemistry, computer science, engineering, environmental science, health science, mathematics, physics, psychology, public health, speech language hearing science, statistics
GPA REQUIREMENT: Minimum of 3.0 grade point average
Freshmen must have completed at least one semester at SDSU.
WHAT IS THE BEP? The Biomedical Exploratory Program will introduce undergraduates to research, laboratory techniques, pre-graduate school planning and resources, and mentor students year-round to increase their competitiveness for graduate school in the biomedical/behavioral sciences.
SUMMER 2012 and/or FALL 2012 REQUIREMENTS: Must be available to commit 10 hours/week during summer 2012 and 5 hours/week in fall 2012
APPLICANTS: Completed applications will be reviewed and selected candidates will be invited for interview. Students will interview with specific faculty mentors in line with their interests.
