SPAWAR: Net Centric Test and Evaluation Lab

This Statement of Work covers the need for the services of college students to provide technical and/or analytical support in the fields of computer science, computer engineering, engineering technology, information systems, electrical engineering, physics and/or a similar area of study to support for the Net Centric Development project. The purpose of the project is to assist the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific (SSC Pacific) personnel in the research, development, test and evaluation of software and hardware for net-centric systems.
Minimum Qualifications Undergraduate Level:
Majoring or minoring in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or physics
Required Course Work:
Basic TCP/IP concepts, Cisco routing/switching, compiling and building the Linux kernel, lab-based network testing
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Testing large scale database structures.
Testing computer modeling, architecture, or graphics and developing computer databases.
Testing, documenting specifically delineated developmental hardware.
Performing literature searches and reviews; compiling and cataloging background material; and/or preparing summaries and bibliographies.
Exercising and/or testing models utilizing stimulation, simulation, emulation, numerical and statistical analyses techniques.
Monthly Status Reports and Bi-Weekly Time Reports shall be in accordance with basic contract CDRL.
