We are looking for student volunteers to table our SDSU MEP/MSP table at Explore SDSU Open House on Saturday, March 23, 2013. The entire event is from 9:00 – 2:00 pm, but we are seeking volunteers for 1 hour time slots (you can sign up for as long as you’d like).
Explore SDSU Open House is a free all-campus event featuring an information fair, academic program workshops, tours and open houses. This is a great opportunity for future students to explore what life is like as an SDSU Aztec.
WHAT DO I DO?
As a volunteer, you would basically be sharing your experiences and what MEP/MSP has to offer to any visitors that drop by the table. For any questions you do not know the answer to, you can provide the guest with our brochure to contact the staff for more information. In addition to the brochures, we will also have pencils/pens as giveaways.
If you participated in the Green Academy project, you should bring your light bulb display (3 light bulbs on power surge) just to share about the opportunity MEP/MSP provided you. You do not need to do your presentation or connect to an electrical source.
SETUP/BREAKDOWN
If you are volunteering for the 8:30-9:30 am or the 1:30-2:30 pm time slot, we will provide you with Natasha and Thelma’s cell phone number so that you can retrieve the table cloth and giveaways from them.
