Event Overview:
Over 6 years ago when Dr. Sandrew had an epiphany that the future of entertainment will be 3D, he completely turned his company around from a successful studio that converts black and white movies to color into a startup company that converts 2D movies to 3D. When he made the decision to dramatically alter the business direction of his company, there was a zero installed base of 3DTVs and only approximately 200 movie theaters worldwide that could exhibit 3D. Learn how Barry Sandrew managed to create the leading 3D conversion company in Hollywood despite the negative attitude of former associates and a skeptical board. His company has been growing, and continues to look for new additions to their team.
In presenting this entrepreneurial journey, Dr. Sandrew will screen 3D footage of many Hollywood feature film blockbusters and other 2D to 3D conversions that his Legend3D team has created over the last several years and he will also give attendees a glimpse into how the conversion technology works.
