Student Volunteers Are Needed!
SDSU’s Compact for Success Program is seeking volunteers to assist with the Annual 7th Grade Visit scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2013. If you would like to help middle school students and their parents on that day we need you to show your Aztec spirit and sense of social justice.
Approximately 4,000 7th graders and their parents will be visiting SDSU from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. that day. They will be welcomed at Viejas Arena and then attend workshops from about 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 pm. These workshops focus on information students and parents will need to know to stay on track to the path to college.
If you would like to help that day we need volunteers to be available from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Your participation is needed to lead groups to the workshops, distribute materials and generally serve as guides and answer questions. T-shirts, breakfast and lunch will be provided for all volunteers
