BAE Systems is looking for Systems Engineering Interns to work in San Diego, CA during the summer of 2009.

Basic requirements include good communications; ability to work in a team environment; and a high degree of self motivation. Each intern will be assigned a primary responsibility typically associated with a specific program. Tasks will vary depending on the skill level of the intern and the needs of the program. Typical tasks may include software and systems development, topic research, and engineering initiative efforts.

Skills/Coursework in the following areas:

• – Knowledge of Systems Engineering development phases and Product Life Cycle
• – Requirements Definition and Analysis
• – UML object modeling
• – Modeling and Simulation/Performance Engineering/Visualization Analysis
• – Information Assurance/Security
• – Strong Math/Mathematical Analysis skills
• – Knowledge of Unix/Linux and/or Windows software development environment
• – DOORS knowledge and experience
