Learn about electric bicycles

This seminar will provide you with an overview of electric bicycles. Electric bicycles are also known as E-bikes and electric-assist bicycles. Discussion will include how to operate an
E-bike, charging the battery, ownership options and repair highlights. You’’ll also learn about comfort and safety on an E-bike. There will be a Q&A session at the end of the workshop.

The San Diego State University chapter of Engineers Without Borders is throwing their 4th Annual Wine For Water Gala at the Birch Aquarium!

100% of the ticket sales go towards helping bring clean water to the community of Tejeras, Honduras and their new project starting in the Darien, Panama.

Join Engineers Without Borders for an evening of wine, hors d’oeuvres and live entertainment at the exclusive and world famous Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institute of Oceanography on Saturday, September 14th from 6:00-10:00pm. The concept is simple: sip some wine with the fishes so children and families around the world can drink clean water.

Do you have a great idea for a retail mobile app? If so, then SAP wants to hear from you!

We’re asking students to take a “design thinking” approach and incorporate the SAP Mobile Platform into ideas for retail mobile apps. Three finalist teams will be selected to attend the SAP Retail Forum in Dallas for final judging. The grand prize winning team will receive two Apple iPads, along with the opportunity to continue their engagement with SAP to build out their final product.*

We would like to invite you to Participate in a Research Study that will develop and evaluate an introductory course designed to Increase Critical Thinking, Reduce Stress, and Increase Academic Persistence

Course Description

The course, Integrative Inquiry is intended to train attention, emotion, and cognitive regulation skills, which is believed to increase educational achievement via the reduction of stress and anxiety and the increase in critical thinking dispositions.
