San Diego STEM Education and Workforce Development Conference

This conference was sponsored by San Diego Gas & Electric, the College of Engineering at San Diego State University, and the Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement (MESA) program, a service mark of the University of California Regents.

The conference provided attendees with a detailed look at the shortage of highly qualified STEM professionals in the San Diego Region and what one national program model, MESA, is doing to address it.

Sixth Annual Space Day

The Museum’s Space Galleries are open for viewing throughout the event, including a flown Apollo spacecraft, moon rocks and space suits, and numerous day activities will be available for all to enjoy.

Women in Science and Technology conference

“Bridging the Gap” is the theme of this year’s Women in Science and Technology conference (formerly known as the Women in bioScience conference). This one-day symposium includes two keynote speakers and a series of workshops focusing on career and personal development. It is an excellent opportunity for members of the scientific community to network, develop new skills and explore career opportunities.
