The San Diego Chapter of the Association for Women in Science is offering $1000
scholarships to community college, undergraduate, and graduate women in San Diego County
who are in pursuit of a degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be a United States citizen or permanent
resident. Applications are due by February 18, 2011.

The American Council of Engineering Companies has a $1500 scholarship for students in
civil, environmental, electrical, and mechanical engineering. Applicant must have a
minimum GPA of 2.0. Applications are due by February 4, 2011.

The Association of California Water Agencies has a Clair A. Hill Scholarship worth $5,000
for a full time student in the water resources-related field of study. Applications are
due by February 1st, 2011.

The US Department of Transportation launched their Women and Girls Internship Program.
You will gain experience in the transportation agency, be able to network with other
professionals in the transportation sector, and can work for academic credit or stipend.
To apply, you must be a woman with a 2.8 GPA or higher and is authorized to work in the
US.
