Sovereign Nations Scholarship Fund

The Sovereign Nations Scholarship Fund Endowment (SNSFE) is a permanent endowment established by the American Indian College Fund and primarily supported by American Indian Nations and American Indian-owned businesses. Other corporations, foundations, and individual donors have also generously contributed to this noteworthy campaign. The Fund will award $ 2,000 scholarships to American Indian students. Upon completion of their degree students are encouraged to work for their tribe or an Indian organization to help improve the livelihood of Native people. To be eligible for the Sovereign Nations Scholarship you must:

· Have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement by having a 3.0 or higher G.P.A.;

· Commit to working for your tribe or an Indian organization upon completion of your degree:

· Enroll full-time in a bachelor’s degree program at a mainstream institution or the 08-09 academic year;

· Be American Indian or Alaskan Native with proof of enrollment or descendancy.
