Comments closedThe NSF MESA Summer Team Internship program is an excellent opportunity for students to develop new skills, gain experience working in science and engineering firms, collaborate in a team, and build relationships with potential employers.
Students will be placed in teams of 2-4 students to collaborate on a research poster that details their work on projects in science and engineering firms or for faculty in, but not limited to, San Diego. Prior summer team internships and its luncheons/receptions/poster presentations can be viewed in the archives.
The internship is a minimum of 100 hours at $12.50/hour for a total of a $1,250 stipend (minus applicable taxes).

Comments closedThe MURF program aims to increase the participation of underrepresented students (such as African American, Hispanic, and Native American, females who are underrepresented in their discipline, or first-generation college
students) in science and engineering Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. programs and to make Caltech’s programs more visible to students not traditionally exposed to Caltech.
Caltech’s Amgen Scholars Program is geared towards students in biology, chemistry, and biotechnology fields. Some of these fields include biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, chemical and biomolecular engineering, and chemistry.
