We need YOU to volunteer as a proctor or competition judge for our SDSU MESA Day Prelimaries!

Volunteer/Community Service Opportunity:
Pre-College students in the MESA Schools Program will be competing in the SDSU MESA Day Preliminaries with several projects, i.e. Windmill, Egg Drop, Popsicle Stick Bridges, Manila Folder Bridges, Mousetrap cars, and MUCH MORE, to determine who will represent the SDSU MSP at the MESA Day Regionals.

Volunteers are needed as Judges and Proctors during these competitions on Saturday, February 26, 2011. Lunch will be provided.

Our MSP students always appreciate your support from our local science and engineering industries as well!

Science and Engineering Clubs/organizations are welcome to host a table to promote their club or organization to our MSP schools, especially our High School Seniors. You can set up a table in our Fun Zone and do
demonstrations or activities with the students.

If interested in volunteering, please email Michelle Jordan, Academic Coordinator, at mjordan@projects.sdsu.edu.

Deadline is December 17, 2010.

(NOTE: If you are a MESA Engineering Program (MEP) / Maximizing Science Potential (MSP) student, this is a great opportunity to earn credit for your participation in your MESA file.)
