Comments closedThe Computer Science Department at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) is inviting applications for its PhD and MS programs (application deadline is December 15th). The PhD positions at UCSB are fully funded by the Department. Each admitted student receives either a fellowship, a research assistantship (RA) or a teaching assistantship (TA), or some combination thereof, to cover his/her living and educational expenses. Students can apply to the PhD program directly after obtaining their undergraduate degrees in computer science or in a related field of science or engineering. MS students are not guaranteed funding but many are hired as TAs and some transition to the PhD program.
