Biophysical Society Summer Course

The Biophysical Society Summer Course in Biophysics, which the Society is again offering in 2010. Applicant Eligibility: Open to minority & Canadian aboriginal junior and senior undergraduate students involved in the areas of quantitative sciences. Two semesters of calculus level physics and 3.0 or greater GPA in science courses are required. Includes: Three course credits, stipend, lab experience, career counseling, and more.

You are invited to the opening ceremony along with any interested students, to hear Dr. Lawrence Carter from Morehouse College, as the keynote speaker for this event. This ceremony will take place on February 5th.

UC EDGE Graduate Recruitment Day 2010

Now in its eighth year, UC Edge: Graduate Recruitment Day 2010 is an all-day event for underrepresented undergraduates who are sophomores and juniors engaged in a faculty-mentored research program, as well as master’s students. Faculty, graduate students and staff from all ten University of California campuses come to UCLA to meet with interested students of all disciplines about graduate opportunities at the University of California.
